The purpose of this policy is to ensure clarity, fairness, and consistency in handling payments, rescheduling, and refund requests for all services facilitated through MediPlace. The Object is to protect both clients and available Service Providers in MediPlace by establishing clear guidelines for non-refundable charges, rescheduling allowances, and for limited refund options when MediPlace considers fair. This policy shall support MediPlace\u2019s commitments to transparent and client-orienteered healthcare coordination Facilities.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

MediPlace operates as a telemedicine and service coordination platform that bridges the Sri Lankan diasporas with healthcare providers across various specialties in Sri Lanka. MediPlace adopts a strict no-refund policy for most services once booked subject to the nature of healthcare scheduling, provider engagement, and logistics involved in the Service. However we recognize that unforeseen situations may arise, and limited exceptions are considered under structured review.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t

\r\n Procedure<\/span>\r\n <\/h2>\r\n \r\n <\/div>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

1. General Policy<\/h5>

1.1\u00a0 All payments made to MediPlace are considered final and Non-Refundable<\/strong> once the service has been scheduled or delivered.
1.2\u00a0 This includes doctor consultation fees, service coordination charges and any additional charges applied for extra services with applicable tax.
1.3\u00a0 Full Payment for every Medical Consultation shall be charged at the time of Channeling.
1.4\u00a0 Pre-payment is required to confirm all other bookings listed \/available in our Platform and Services will not be initiated until full payment is received and verified.
1.5\u00a0 Payments can be made via approved methods including credit\/debit cards, bank transfers, or mobile payment platforms integrated with MediPlace.<\/p>

2.\u00a0Rescheduling Requests<\/strong><\/h5>

2.1\u00a0 Clients may request to reschedule a confirmed service appointment (e.g., Consultation, lab test, or counseling session) <\/strong>at no extra charge if such request for reschedule is made at least 24 hours in advance.
2.2\u00a0 Each appointment may be rescheduled a maximum of two (2) times.<\/strong>
2.3\u00a0 Rescheduling requests made less than 24 hours before <\/strong>the scheduled date and time shall not be accepted, and any new appointment will be subject to provider availability and applicable re-booking charges.<\/p>

3. Exceptional Circumstances for Refund<\/h5>

3.1\u00a0 MediPlace may refund any Payments for Medical Consultation\/other Bookings of Services in the event it is cancelled by the said Medical Practitioner\/Service Provider subject to the deductions of coordination Fee of the MediPlace and the taxes.
3.2\u00a0 Service charges and Healthcare Service Providers consultation fees are non-refundable once a booking has been scheduled or fulfilled.
3.3\u00a0 In exceptional cases, if a refund is approved by MediPlace management, a 20% administrative processing fee will be deducted. Refunds will be processed via the original payment method within 7\u201314 working days.<\/p>

4. No Refund for Partially Used Services<\/h5>

4.1 No refund shall be issued for partially completed services, such as:<\/strong>
4.1.1. Home visits where treatment costs are pending.
4.1.2. Referral services already initiated (e.g., prescription or lab orders sent).
4.1.3. Health coordination tasks that have begun (reports given to review, lab services, dental, vision and etc).<\/p>

5. Third-Party Provider Responsibility<\/h5>

5.1\u00a0 MediPlace only acts as a facilitator between clients and licensed \/registered third-party healthcare providers (e.g., doctors, labs, pharmacies).
5.2\u00a0 MediPlace does not assume liability for the clinical quality, timeliness, or outcomes of services provided by such licensed \/registered third-party healthcare providers.
5.3\u00a0 Clients shall make direct complaints or disputes regarding service quality to the said licensed \/registered third-party healthcare providers directly except medical Consultations.
5.4\u00a0 MediPlace will assist in coordinating communication where possible, but will not be responsible for any type of compensation or refunds related to said licensed \/registered third-party healthcare providers\u2019 performances.<\/p>

6. Client Acknowledgment<\/h5>

6.1\u00a0 By proceeding with a booking and payment through MediPlace, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms of this Payment & Refund Policy.
6.2\u00a0 MediPlace reserves the right to update this Payment Policy at any time. Any changes will be reflected on our website, and clients are encouraged to review the policy before making a new booking.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
